Nothing quite adds to the serenity of a garden or backyard landscaping than the gurgling beauty of a water garden. Water gardens are an aural and visual delight. A garden pond, complete with a bubbling fountain and rimmed in decorative stone, can provide a wonderfully soothing focal point for your landscaping. For many people, it's a great place to sit and reflect upon the day or simply to relax and let go of that day's pressures.

Water gardens can be dressed up with a variety of plants and flowers, and even stocked with aquatic life if the pond is large enough and the climate is right. Water gardens can range from a small fountain to elaborately tiered pools to large ponds. A water garden can fit into just about any landscape, even the smallest of backyards.
